Greetings to all! This is to remind all of the Chan Clan Family members that on July 6-8, 2007, we will be having our 7th Chan Family Reunion. Fourteen years ago, September 1993, we began this tradition down at the harbor of Mission Bay in San Diego. This year, as we celebrate together, we will begin by gathering again near San Francisco Bay, Tiburon. Events for the Reunion: Friday, July 6 5:00 – 9:00pm Many of us will be traveling and meeting up with each other this day. There will be an open house from 5pm-9pm with dinner and appetizers served at the home of Charlene & Ken for those who want to get a head start on the fun time ahead.
Saturday, July 7 The Festivities Begin 10:00 am – 3:00pm We plan on enjoying each other’s company at Charlene & Ken’s home. There will be great food, activities for the kids and plenty of entertainment for all, plus many stories to swap with each other. Bring your gear for swimming, kayaking on the Bay and fishing from the pier. We will have family competitions and games. 5:00pm – 9:00pm The reunion continues with dinner and family time at the home of Charlene & Ken. A video presentation of our family will be shown. If anyone would like to perform, such as, sing, piano, guitar, dance, etc- we’d love the entertainment.
Sunday, July 8 Family Worship 9:30-11:15a We will all gather together and have Christian Fellowship, Singing/Praise worship, giving thanks to God for all the blessing we have enjoyed in our Chan Clan Family.
12:00pm-4:00pm Lunch and Fun Angel Island Adventure Catch the Angel Island Ferry at 12 noon from Tiburon. We have a picnic area reserved for the Chan Clan lunch as we enjoy the spectacular 360° views of San Francisco, Oakland, and the North Bay. Bikes can be rented for touring and a docent-led tour can be arranged if there is enough interest. This weekend will be filled with fun, relaxation, lasting memories for us all. There’s going to be incredible food, great activities for the kids, and plenty of entertainment for all, plus many stories to swap with each other. Bring your cameras and video gear.

Chan Video Productions is now in the process of accepting family photos for the 2007 Chan Family Reunion Video Presentation. If you want to be included in this video please send in 10 - 20 photos of you and your family. Deadline for the photos is June 15, 2005. Food Costs - The estimated food costs for each family is $50 to cover Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch, snacks and drinks for the entire weekend. Tickets for the Ferry to Angel Island can be purchased the day of the excursion at the ferry boat landing. No credit cards. (for more info visit: Angel Island Ferry ) For planning purposes, we need to have a final count of all the Chans who plan on attending. Please respond by June 15, 2007.
