Greetings to all! This is to remind all of the Chan Clan Family members that on July 3-5, 2009, we will be having our 8th Chan Family Reunion. Sixteen years ago, September 1993, we began this tradition down at the harbor of Mission Bay in San Diego. This year, as we celebrate together, we will begin by gathering again at Mission Bay, San Diego and homes in the surrounding area. There are many new additions to our clan both young and “older” who we all eagerly want to meet. |

Friday July 3 - Sunday July 5, 2009 San Diego, California
Events Details : Friday, July 3 5:00 – 9:00pm Many of us will be traveling and meeting up with each other this day. There will be an open house from 5pm-9pm with dinner and appetizers served at the home of Curtis & Mae for those who want to get a head start on the fun time ahead. Saturday, July 4 The Festivities Begin 10:00 am – 3:00pm We plan on enjoying each other’s company at our old spot at Mission Bay Park - Vacation Isle. We will be on the West end of the park at the far end of the Model Yacht Pond near the beach area. There will be delicious food, activities for the kids and plenty of entertainment for all, plus many stories to swap with each other. Bring your beach and picnic chairs. 5:00pm – 9:00pm The reunion continues with dinner and family time at the home of Mr. Rusty Block (close family friend) , overlooking San Diego and Mission Bay. A Fourth of July Fireworks display and family fun will be provided. Directions to: Mr. Rusty Block's Home Saturday pm
Sunday, July 5 Family Worship 10:00-11:15a We will all gather together at Clifford & Noreen's home in Fallbook, and have Christian Fellowship, Singing/Praise worship, giving thanks to God for all the blessing we have enjoyed in our Chan Clan Family. Directions to: Clifford & Noreen's Home
12:00pm-4:00pm Lunch and Fun Family Team competition will be instituted that will provide many years of memories. Later, if anyone would like to perform, such as, sing, piano, guitar, dance, etc- we’d love the entertainment to showcase your family talents.
