We had a small group of players who ventured out on a most beautiful day in Encinitas. We welcome Jacque Moutier and Dan Blessinger to our group.  Congratulations to Tom Robinson for winning low gross (82), and Bob Newby for excellent play and for scoring to be our May 2004 low net winner (65).  Remember only those players who have an official SCGA or USGA golf index qualify for low net play and compete in Seacoast Christian Golf Club Points System.   For information on how to obtain an official golf index contact Curtis Chan.

 A Special Note:   Due to the scheduling of our “Men’s Golf Outreach” at Seacoast Community Church that is scheduled for June 18-19, 2004, we will not have our regular scheduled monthly event on June 11, 2004.  We encourage all of you to sign up for the Men’s Golf Outreach – an incredible 2 day unlimited golf event, at San Luis-Rey Downs Golf Resort, for only $150 (includes green fees, golf cart, and lodging for one night).   For info call contact Bob Newby or Curtis Chan.

Point System for 2004
For those who have an SCGA membership through Seacoast Christian Golf Club, we will be implementing a point system to add a competitive edge to our club.  Each event will offer points depending on how you finish amongst the field of players.  Final Scoring will be indexed and calculated according to each member’s monthly index.  We will keep a running total throughout the year for those who want to compete and we'll think of prizes for the winners at the end.   Standings will be posted each month.  If you have any questions contact Bob Newby (bnewby@seacoast-church.org) or Curtis Chan (CurtisChanDDS@aol.com).
