We had incredibly nice golfing weather
on Friday. So much for the weatherman’s report who said that there was
going to be rain for Friday morning. Tom Robinson still is in the
lead for the quest to be at the top of the leader board. It looks like Tom
has this year’s top place finish in his pocket with a very comfortable
lead. The bid for second place is still up for grabs with one more event
left for this year – Friday, December 10, 2004.
Congrats to Dan Anderson who
heated up his clubs and stayed in the groove by posting an 81. This gave him
low gross (81) and low net honors (61)…way to go Dan!!
Welcome to our group Terry Chew and Robbie Roberts. It’s nice
to get new guys out here to stir up the competition. Also a warm hello to
Thomas Nani who we haven’t seen all year – hopefully you’ve dusted
off the cobwebs off your clubs and will keep them swinging into the New
Year.
In the 4 man Waltz team play, the
winning team was Team 1 (-17), followed by Team 2 (-8).
Note: After rechecking all the score
cards, a few corrections had to be made. There were a few addition errors
and the correct scores are the ones posted below. So make sure you all
have your cards double checked by your playing partners. If this was the
PGA, your scores would be DQ (disqualified). If you didn’t post your
adjusted scores at the golf course please let Curtis Chan know. Our club
also has internet posting abilities by going to
www.scga.org and look under the Net Post
link.
Our club’s membership dues for 2005
are due. Renewals for your SCGA membership is $35 made out to and sent to
Curtis Chan at 5049 Ruette De Mer, San Diego, CA 92130.
