Encinitas Ranch Golf Club,
Encinitas CA
We had a fun filled
day at the course today. Welcome to several new players who came out to
join in on the fun: Rick Aguilera, Chris Whitmere,
Travis Gomez. Also welcome back from shoulder surgery Tom
Robinson, and welcome back Tracy Starkjohann who’s been on
tour with her husband Chris.
Congratulations go
to Rick Aguilera and Tracy Starkjohann. Both of them
scored a low gross 77. Rick showed us that his atheletism goes beyond
baseball and into his smooth easy golf swing. He posted a cool 77, but
there were at least 4 putts he left on the table that he knows he should
have kept in the bag. Tracy had her special caddie (Victoria) on the
cart with her, and Tracy still maintained her concentration to post her
score...rumor has it that she was using this round as a practice round
as she is going to defend her woman’s title championship here at
Encinitas Ranch. The handicap committee had to break their tie by going
to the score cards. On the most difficult hole of the course, hole #4,
Rick Aguilera scored a birdie, and Tracy scored a double bogey.
Therefore, Rick Aquilera wins the top points for low gross.
Remember only those
players who have an official SCGA or USGA golf index qualify for low net
