We
had a field of only 4 players. It was a beautiful day for golf. All players played very well, playing to
their index or better. Congratulations to Tom Robinson for taking low gross
and low net honors. Bob Newby and Tom Robinson tied for the
low net, but the overall winner was determined by going to the score card. Ties are determined by the player’s performance on
the back 9 holes. In the overall total points, Frank Sung has made a
move into 3rd place, but Tom maintains a strong lead. Craig
Johnson has made a strong move by adding 350 points to his total and
climbing the leader board from 13th place to 7th.
There are still 3 more events to rack up your points. Our next outing is
Friday, October 8, 2004. Mark your calendar and plan to come out. |

Points System for
2004
For those who have an SCGA membership
through Seacoast Christian Golf Club, we will be implementing a point system
to add a competitive edge to our club. Each event will offer points
depending on how you finish amongst the field of players. Final Scoring
will be indexed and calculated according to each member’s monthly index. We
will keep a running total throughout the year for those who want to compete
and we'll think of prizes for the winners at the end. Standings will be
