Encinitas Ranch Golf Club,
Encinitas CA
We had a wonderful
day of golf last Friday at Encinitas Ranch. Welcome back to our group
Kent Coykendal, whom we haven’t seen for a long time.
Andy Burich
again showed us how to keep things under control by posting a low gross
score of 76. The inside scoop on this round was that he was using this
outing as a warm up round for his scheduled afternoon golf round at
Encinitas Ranch. So he ended up shooting a cool 78 from the Blues in
the afternoon while battling the wind. Way to go Andy!!!
For Low Net honors,
Curtis Chan posted a low net 65 edging Bob Newby by just one
stroke.
In our Net Skins
game we had 2 winners. This game is scored by determining which players
in the field scored the single best net score for each hole. If there
is a tie, then there is no “Skins” earned.
Hole #4 (handicap
#1) Bob Newby – he parred this hole for a net eagle
Hole #18 (handipcap
#8) Curtis Chan – he birdied this hole for a net eagle
Our next outing has
been scheduled for Friday Oct 6 (Note: this is a change from Oct
13.) Due to courses beginning to perform their seasonal overseeding we
will check to see which course we will play.
