The Golf Club of Rancho California What immediately sets The Golf Club at Rancho California apart, is its pedigree. Designed in 1970 by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., it was one of several exceptionally fine layouts designed by Jones in that period. Incorporated in the design are many well-known trademarks of RTJ Sr. courses, including: numerous and beautifully sculptured bunkers which guard both fairway landing areas and large, undulating greens.
